Lab FAQ
Do I need to fast for labs?
Fasting is usually required for a lipid panel (8–12 hours) and sometimes for glucose testing. We’ll confirm instructions when we order your labs.
How quickly will I get results?
Most rapid tests are ready during your visit. Many CBC/CMP results are same day; others return within 1–2 business days. We’ll message you through OnPatient and discuss next steps.
Can I walk in for testing?
Yes—walk-ins are welcome for urgent needs. You can also schedule online for convenience.
Are labs covered by my insurance?
Coverage varies by plan. We verify benefits at check-in and explain any copays, deductibles, or coinsurance before testing.
Emergency symptoms (severe chest pain, stroke signs, major trauma, severe breathing trouble, or uncontrolled bleeding) require 911 or the nearest ER.
