Direct Primary Care (DPC) at urHealthcare is a direct-pay membership. You can still keep insurance for hospital and specialty care, but it’s not required to join our clinic.
Month-to-month membership. Cancel anytime. Medications and many labs are available from home.
Specialty and hospital services are outside the DPC fee. Plan available for patients 65 years and younger.

No. DPC covers primary & urgent care, many medications, basic labs, and minor procedures. Specialty and hospital services are outside the membership. Most members pair DPC with an HDHP/catastrophic plan, but insurance is not required to join.
Unlimited visits, same/next-day access, 7-day urgent care, 250+ covered meds, basic labs, X-ray & ultrasound, and common procedures like stitches, splints, and abscess drainage, plus options for home labs and medication delivery.
HSA: Expected to be eligible Jan 2026 (confirm with your tax advisor and plan administrator). We don’t bill insurance for membership; most members use insurance only for specialty and hospital needs.
Same/next-day appointments are typical. We also offer virtual care and 7-day urgent care access.
Yes—common meds on our covered list are included at no extra cost, along with routine labs and on-site X-ray/ultrasound for faster diagnosis. Many labs and medications can be arranged from home.
Membership is available to patients 65 years and younger. Children 5+ can be added.
We coordinate referrals and help manage care. Outside specialty, advanced imaging, hospital, or surgery are typically covered through your insurance plan.
